THEME:
“The Role of Cultural Heritage in Modern Nation Building and Economic Prosperity”

ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL HERITAGE CONFERENCE 2024

Hosted by the Alliance Creative Community Project (ACCP), the International Cultural Heritage Conference 2024 is a prominent initiative designed to support the UN’s Cultural Heritage Project globally. This includes participating in historic cultural programs worldwide.

Cultural heritage is defined as encompassing traditions, values, artifacts, and knowledge passed down through generations, forming a community’s identity and ensuring the continuity of cultural practices, both tangible and intangible. A people’s cultural heritage significantly contributes to nation building and economic prosperity by fostering identity, unity, and social cohesion, which promotes national pride and stability. A people’s cultural heritage drives economic prosperity through tourism, cultural industries, creative enterprises, cultural festivals, historic sites, and traditional crafts, attracting tourists, generating significant revenue, and creating jobs. A people’s cultural heritage enriches education and innovation by offering diverse perspectives and solutions, ensuring the transmission of traditions and knowledge to future generations. These activities encourage the preservation of cultural heritage and sustainable development. But the importance of cultural heritage goes much further. This conference would provide all its learners with practical tools on how cultural heritage can be utilized in its fullness, applicable to their daily thinking, philosophies, and activities, to strengthen the social fabric and economic resilience of their communities/societies/nation, leading to long-term prosperity and a strong national identity that attracts global respect to its citizens.
